[IELTS] In many countries, children are engaged in some kind of paid work?. is it write or wrong?

In many countries, children are engaged in some kind of paid work. Some people regard this as completely wrong, while others consider it as valuable work experience important for learning and taking responsibilities

What is your opinion on this?

Minors involve in paid work is a situation that can seen not only in developing countries but as well as in developed countries too. The difference is what’s the reason that makes them involve in paid work. Some maybe working for earn pocket money, some may working for provide food for the family. Yet there are lot of arguments about whether involving minors in paid work is correct or not.

Some people think that start doing a job in small age is important because it gives the ability of taking responsibility in early age, and it gives the valuable work experience to them in early age. Also earning money by working is a pleaser than asking from parents. Working with different people also helps minors to improve their communication skills and also to get more socialized which is important for their whole life

But there are lot of people that say working for money in minor age is a bad thing because of many reasons. First thing is that childhood is the happiest time in anyone’s life. Using the time that they should enjoy on working is a waste of time. Second reason is they maybe expose to bad habits. Involving in paid work in minor age also make them work with elders. This may expose them to bad habits like smoking, rude language. In developing countries, earning money for the family become minors priority may affect on their education also.

I believe that involve in paid work for a modest amount, under parents supervision will give them the work experience, joy of working, ability of taking responsibility and communication skills without wasting their enjoyable time or education. Working in early age helps child to become responsible and hard working person that country need.
